God created humanity with a charge to care for his creation. We were given dominion over it to steward it well. If the resurrection of Jesus occurred, we are then heading toward restored creation. As his people, we ought to be those who reflect that coming day by giving a glimpse of that restoration. If the resurrection did not occur, then the Earth is nothing more than a ticking time bomb.
