A Public People: Submission

A Public People: The Church as a Distinct Community - A Study of 1 & 2 Peter In this series, we will consider what makes the Christian community so distinct. While there are many associations, relationships, and communities in which we find ourselves, Christian community is unique in that the community is rooted in a singular commonality––the work of Jesus. Christians’ lives should reflect a different way of living. This life ought to reflect and embody the hope and joy found in Christ. As a result, Christians ought to be a particular type of community marked by particular characteristics that are different and maybe even peculiar to others.
